Hey! I’m Nicole but many may know me by my first name, La-Toya. I go by both seemingly simultaneously but all of my friends and family call me Nicole. I absolutely love to talk about all thing’s lifestyle. I love to share my thoughts and learn new things.
I’m a mother of 2, wife and full time real estate agent.
I’ve always wanted to start a blog but had no clue where to start. My drive to keep going was fueled by my strong desire to retire from my 9 to 5 and tap into the lucrative industry of lifestyle blogging.
I grew up in Hampton, VA and made Northern, Va my home in 2002. I started at Hampton University on a full ROTC scholarship. I quickly realized that the Army life was not my style and walked away from free money. I still regret that emotional decision to this day. My mom had just taken a new job in Northern, VA and encouraged me to move to the area. I moved in with her and enrolled at George Mason University. My mom landed me an intern position with the Government and I hit the ground running! I graduated from George Mason University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Administration of Justice and went on to earn my Master’s degree in Management and Leadership.
In the beginning, my goal was to soar up the ranks in my 9 to 5 and boy did I soar!!! However, I’m someone who always wants more. I strongly believe this is both a gift and a curse.
In 2016, my best girlfriend from childhood gave me an opportunity to stage her clients home and I did pretty darn good and earned a nice little pay check. This opportunity ignited a fire inside of me and was truly an awakening. I’d finally found something that made me happy and I hit the ground running seeking more opportunities. Staging opened the doors to my real estate career and I am so happy to be here!! Nothing feels better than helping someone find their dream home. I look forward to sharing my journey with you.

When most people picture negotiating on a home, they picture one number: the list price. You offer somewhere under the asking price, the seller counters, you settle in the middle, and whoever gives
If you've spent any time on real estate TikTok in the last few years, you've probably seen the house hacking pitch. Buy a property, rent part of it out, let your tenants cover the mortgage. Live for
